Transportation of the proportional electro-hydraulic servo valve

1. Preparations Before Transportation

Before transporting the proportional electro-hydraulic servo valve, sufficient preparation should be made. Firstly, the hydraulic oil inside the valve should be completely drained, and it should be cleaned with a special cleaning fluid to prevent the residual oil from deteriorating or blocking the valve core during long-distance transportation. Secondly, the electrical interfaces, oil ports, and other parts should be sealed to prevent dust and moisture from entering the interior. It is usually recommended to use dust caps or sealing tapes for sealing, and to affix clear labels to prevent misoperation.

2. Packaging Requirements

The packaging of the proportional electro-hydraulic servo valve must have good shockproof, waterproof, and dustproof performance. It is recommended to use a customized foam inner lining box to ensure that the valve body does not move or collide during transportation. The outer packaging should be made of sturdy wooden boxes or high-strength plastic boxes, and warning signs such as 'Precision Instrument', 'Handle with Care', and 'Moisture Proof' should be marked on the outer box. At the same time, it is recommended to place desiccants inside the packaging to control the humidity inside the box.

3. Control Measures During Transportation

1. Preventing Vibration and Impact: During transportation, it is necessary to avoid severe vibration and impact. It is recommended to use transportation vehicles equipped with shock-absorbing devices, such as special vehicles equipped with airbag shock absorption. For air transportation, a position with less vibration should be selected in the cargo hold, and it should be avoided to be mixed with other heavy cargo.

2. Temperature and Humidity Control: The proportional electro-hydraulic servo valve is sensitive to environmental temperature and humidity. Generally, the transportation environment temperature should be controlled between -20℃ and +60℃, and the relative humidity should not exceed 80%. For long-distance or cross-border transportation, a constant temperature and humidity box can be used to ensure environmental stability.

3. Anti-static Measures: Since the servo valve contains electronic components, static interference should be avoided during transportation. Packaging materials should be selected from anti-static materials, and handlers should wear anti-static equipment.

After the transportation arrives at the destination, the outer packaging should first be checked for any damage, and it should be confirmed that the internal equipment has not been impacted or dampened. Then, the packaging should be opened for an external inspection, and professional instruments should be used to detect its electrical performance and response characteristics. If there are no abnormalities, it should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse free of corrosive gases, away from strong electromagnetic fields and high-temperature environments.

Conclusion

The proportional electro-hydraulic servo valve, as the core component of a high-precision hydraulic control system, every detail in its transportation process may affect its performance and service life. Therefore, it is necessary to pay great attention to protective measures during transportation, and strict standards should be followed in packaging, transportation methods, and environmental control to ensure the safe and reliable arrival of the equipment at the site of use, providing a solid guarantee for the stable operation of industrial automation systems.
